1961 Honored Guest Inauguration Ticket
Choice Seating at White House for Inaugural Parade
This is a choice unused ticket to the 1961 inauguration of John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson which entitled the bearer, an "Honored Guest," to seating at the White House stands to witness the inaugural parade. January 20, 1961 was very cold and it is thus understandable that some VIPs chose not to sit out in the cold for hours. Thus the fine condition of this ticket. The regular parade tickets were along the parade route before the White House and had a price listed on them because they had to be purchased by the general public.
